Relationship Therapy for Leaders
The pressures of leadership can place an extra burden on your relationships. You might be experiencing challenges in your relationship with your partner, family members, friends, or colleagues. You might even notice that your relationship struggles get in the way of developing and nurturing healthy relationships. Given how important a strong relational support network is to health and well-being, struggling in the relationship department can take quite a toll.
We’ve got this! Together, we’ll explore the areas where you’d like to cultivate or strengthen your relationships. We’ll look at family-of-origin issues shaping how you engage with others or react to relational dynamics. We’ll examine the thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that inform your reactions to others. We'll identify strategies to shift your patterns to set you up for deeper, stronger, and more fulfilling relationships. We’ll also clarify your vision for the qualities and characteristics of relationships in your life, perhaps even engaging in visualizations or other exercises to promote clarity and alignment.
You hold the keys to building the most beautiful relationships with others. By giving yourself the gift of exploring how you’d like to be in relationship with others through therapy, you have the potential to unlock the greatest of all gifts - human connection.
My clinical training and experiences as a psychologist are deeply rooted in relationship therapy. Through our work together, I’ll serve as a compassionate mirror for you to better understand yourself in relationship with others.
Let’s Make a Match
Let’s face it - therapy is a big deal, and you don’t have the time to waste on something that isn’t a good fit for you. You deserve a good match. We might be a good match if you
appreciate setting personal goals and taking action,
are nourished by the process of self-discovery,
believe there are steps you can take to live a whole and healthy life,
are open to being nurtured by those you trust (even though this can be hard to do),
aim to be someone who leads with kindness, compassion, and heart,
understand you don’t have to be perfect, even if you still catch yourself trying to be perfect,
benefit from talking through your challenges with a trusted source and
are committed to lifelong growth and development.
Telehealth Therapy to Oregon Residents
You are a busy bee, and it can be extra challenging to be fully present in therapy when you’ve had to sit in traffic and fight for a parking spot just to get in the door. Meet me online from a location that feels most comfortable to you. Wear your sweats, squeeze me in between appointments, or sit on a comfy couch with a mug of hot tea and a blanket. This is your time; we’ll make the most of it together.
